A&J are respected specialists in the manufacture of plate girders, trusswork, stiffened complex platework in decks, box girders, arch boxes, bridge refurbishment, footbridges and sign gantries.
From girders to complete bridge deck frameworks, A&J possess the expertise and experience to manufacture to drawings and if required, erect all types of bridge steelwork. We are a certified member of the Register of Qualified Steelwork Contractors and as such capable of completing projects for the Highways Agency.
Girders etc are manufactured from fully certified prime steel sourced from ISO 9002 suppliers, and produced to EN 287 and EN 288 welding standards by our experienced workforce. Girder lengths up to and including 25 metres and 25 tonnes in weight can be manufactured using the latest welding techniques. We can provide full fabrication or girder blanks as well as shotblasting and painting.
N.D.T. (Non Destructive Testing) is carried out to meet customer or code requirements, and controlled by in-house quality systems supported by full documentation. Extensive planned production is carried out to ensure all deliveries are on time and full project management services are offered if required.
