The A&J Ekstroms joint venture resources include over 200 people across two sites encompassing drawing / design offices and a total of 300,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing facilities.

The Älvsjö manufacturing facility in Sweden is a state of the art factory producing of a wide range of extended surface tubing – the components that go into every A&J Ekstroms economiser and heat exchanger. A combination of the latest manufacturing techniques and over 40 years of experience in finned tube design and manufacture creates a finished product that is one of the best available anywhere in the world.

The £3m purpose-built UK fabrication and assembly facility in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire was created around the specific requirements for manufacturing both large fabrications and the specialist tooling and facilities needed for precision tube bending and welding. In addition to the necessary space and craneage required for the largest of economiser units this site also incorporates facilities for hydrostatic testing of assemblies and radiographic testing of welding,
