Quality Assurance

Pressure parts endure arduous round the clock service in the harshest of environments often with little or no opportunity to halt processes and plant in order to gain access to carry out inspections or repairs. Quality of design and manufacture is therefore of the utmost importance.

All assembly and welding is carried out in A&J Fabtech UK factories by qualified welders to approved weld procedures. Welds are typically subjected to an on site radiographic examination 10-100% to verify weld quality. In addition, finished units are subject to a hydrostatic pressure test in the presence of a certified thrid party.

Inspection is carried out internally by our full time works inspectors and welding engineers with additional surveillance visits being made by nominated third party inspection authorities such as Lloyds, RSA etc.

Throughout every project we encourage our customers to make regular visits to give the peace of mind that comes from a close working relationship and the knowledge that support during and after supply is on the door step.
