In the past 5 years we have produced in excess of 100 rotating halfbridge scrapers and a similar amount of other rotary scraping equipment with a total value of around 8 million pounds. We have also recently beem appointed the major framework supplier for Yorkshire Water Services and are in negotiation for a number of others.

To our knowledge we are one of only a few UK based companies that design and manufacture a range of scraping equipment in-house and with the capacity to meet the needs of the water industry, not just on rotating half bridges but on a full range of rotary scrapers and thickeners for both dirty and clean water applications. We are also registered suppliers on the UVDB database.

We also design and manufacture scrapers for other companies which are badged as their own.

We endeavour, where practical and economical, to maintain common parts over our standard range of rotating bridge scraper sizes. For example items such as trip switches and loss of motion sensors are common to all machines and in other cases such as the wheels and wheel bearings there are just 2 sizes across the range. This enables the minimum number of strategic spares to be held to cover various sizes of machines.

A&J provide a dedicated team of experienced individuals who are highly motivated to provide a responsive quality service across all areas of their activity. There is keen interest to interact with the end user of equipment to ensure that all the best possible solutions are provided and that the equipment evolves to provide an increasingly cost effective and efficient product.
